Paralegal Full Time NEW

Kosmos is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Irvine. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our legal team and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our legal department. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents, including court filings, contracts, and other legal forms

– Maintain and organize legal files and documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible

– Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates on legal matters

– Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and other legal proceedings

– Assist with document review and discovery processes

– Prepare and maintain legal correspondence and other communications

– Handle administrative tasks such as billing, timekeeping, and expense reports

– Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments

– Other duties as assigned by the legal team

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution

– 4+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate or law firm setting

– Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures

– Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Ability to work independently and in a team environment

– Strong organizational and time-management skills

– Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
